EAGER ZHANG (She/They) IS A DESIGNER, ARTIST AND WEB DEVELOPER NOW WORKS AND LIVES IN KANSAS CITY, UNITED STATES.
Born and raised up in China mainland, relocated in Shanghai, and now working in United States, I identify myself as a designer, a researcher, an architect of visual dimension. I see graphic design from an engineer’s perspective, and the design intuitive leads me to interpret it into beautiful, accurate slices from a planned, sophisticated system. I make websites, font faces and identity systems as solutions, but at the same time experiments, poems, data visualizations, and manifestos.
I currently teaches at Kansas City Art Institute as a Visiting Assistant Professor, AICAD Fellow. I also runs OmensOmens Lab, my design studio that provides integrated typography/branding, UI/UX design consultation and solutions for clients. My previous clients and collaborators include GQ Japan, Aston Martin Shanghai, Tongji University, Kansas City Art Institute, and a number of independent artists and researchers.
