The poetry book Michigan the Sea is a project to explore the boundary between perceiving and reading of poetic language, in two dimensions: visual and verbal. Six poems about my thoughts on identity, languages and geographical displacement, were all wrote by me during the pandemic, from August 2020. As a design solution, 6 experimental font faces were created to match the narrative of six experimental poems.
